Petr Hloušek

A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava in the field of illustration and book design works on stage designs and scenic projections of productions in the Czech Republic and other European countries.Beauty and the Beast, Flashdance (Switzerland), Ghost, The Last Ship, Sugar!, In 2010, he surprised with his stage portrayal of the musical Mary Poppins, which was nominated by Musical.cz for the scene of the season. In 2013, his collaboration with Reykjavik City Theatre began with Mary Poppins, followed by Strange Case of the Dog, Billy Elliot, Mamma Mia and Don't Dress for Dinner. In New York, he produced the independent musical Revolution and won the Gríman Award (Icelandic Theatre Award) for his lighting design for The Curious Case of the Dog. For the Folketeateret in Oslo he designed the sets for the musicals Les Misérables, Sound of Music (Broadway World Regional Award), Chess and Annie.
