THEATRE AWARDS BY EDUARD TICHÝ, the founder of prague´s Music theatre Karlín (MTK)
The contest is under the auspices of MgA Hana Třeštíková, the councillor of culture, care of historical monuments, expositions and tourist trade.
First year of the Eduard contest
There were over 50 ensambles registered in the first year of the contest. 14 of them should have competed for the Eduard award at the „small scene“ of the MTK in June 2020.
According to the Covid-19 situation, we had to postpone the date of the contest to 15th-31st October 2020, though it could not be released even then.
So the contest had been postponed again to 2022, because of the precarious conditions. We will keep you informed about new terms, as we will continuously update the information on this webpage.
