Tomeš Roman

He graduated from the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory in Prague. In the 2nd year he gained his first theatre experience - the role of Giacomo Salaia in the musical Mona Lisa at the Broadway Theatre. Others soon followed: Prince (Snow White, Seven Racers), Honza (Time of Roses), Simon (Rebels) Lev Alex (Madagascar), Štěpán (Night at Karlštejn), etc. At the Kalich Theatre he played or still plays Tomáš (The Eighth Continent), Danny (Grease), Bobby C. (Saturday Night Fever), Ben (Desire), Jan (The Secret), Martin (Atlantis) and Dean Hyde (King of Hearts). He played the lead role of Roger in the cult musical Rent (wider Thalia Award nomination 2015). He performed in the Bratislava version of the rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar, in the role of Jesus. In the musical of the same name he also plays the character of Judas in HDK and in Ostrava (shortlisted for the Thalia Award). You could also see him in Pilsen in Anything Goes and Bonnie and Clyde, etc. Audiences could see him in the TV series Sunny as Tony.
