Slováček Felix jr.

In 2010 he graduated from the Master's degree at HAMU in clarinet with the Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra Pardubice in the series "The Best". In 2007 he participated in the 10th Swing Music Festival, where he was a vocalist in a concert series with the Australian legendary trumpeter, composer and member of the GRP Allstar Big Band, James Morrison. In 2008-2010 he was the principal clarinetist of the Carlsbad Symphony Orchestra. He has performed at the Moscow Classical Music Festival "Spring in Russia" 2013, Musical Bridgest Around the World 2015 in the USA, and as a soloist (clarinet, soprano saxophone, vocals) or with orchestras in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Austria, Italy, Russia, Norway, Spain, Slovenia, China and the USA. He studied conducting privately with Prof. Jaroslav Vodňanský. (2020 - 2022). Since 2022 he has been conducting at the Karlín Music Theatre. Since September 2024 he has been teaching and leading the first Big Band of the Prague Conservatory. He has performed in drama and musicals in several Prague theatres (Semafor Theatre, Kalich Theatre, Hybernia Theatre, Strašnické Theatre, Theatre on Jezerka, HDK).
