Vojtko Marián
Winner of the Thalia Award 2010 in the category of Operetta, Musical and Other Musical-Dramatic Genre.
In 2012 he performed the title role of Jean Valjean in the musical Les Misérables at Goya Music Hall and portrayed the executioner Soapmaker in the musical of the same name at Broadway Theatre. In May 2012, the musical The Three Musketeers returned to the same theatre, where he appeared as Cardinal Richelieu, and at the Hybernia Theatre as Frollo the priest in the musical Quasimodo. He has also exercised his versatility as the main character in the operettas The Princess of Chardonnay (Prince Edwin) and Polish Blood (Count Bolo Baránski) and in the musical Aida (Radames) at the Karlín Music Theatre. In the musicals Dracula, Angelica and Baron Prášil he performed the main roles, in the musical Cleopatra he performed in two casts (Caesar or Marcus Antonius). In 2005-2007 at the Karlín Musical Theatre he performed the double role of Jekyll & Hyde in Frank Wildhorn's musical of the same name.
