She grew up in Sluhy za Prahou. Following the example of her older brother, she wanted to be a hockey player. But the Lord God willed it otherwise, so her mother soon grew tired of dressing her daughter in hockey gear, tightening her skates and standing in the cold temperatures of the rink. She signed her up for singing lessons, a drama club, and a hockey career was there. Karolína studied acting at the Prague Conservatory. She worked at the Komedie Theatre, where she was cast in the production of Wild Meat by her acting professor Jan Novotný, at the NoD theatre she starred in the critically acclaimed production of In the Day at Night (directed by Kasha Jandáčková), and with her friends she staged the comedy Friday Night (directed by Kateřina Iváková). Currently she can be seen in performances of the Harlequin Agency (Lucie Bílá Theatre, etc.), in the miniseries Iveta as Vendula Svobodová, and sings with Jiří Korynta's Prague Film Orchestra. And now, for the first time ever, she can be seen on the stage of the Karlín Musical Theatre.
