I'm originally a Barrandov film make-up artist, I graduated from the School of Arts and Crafts as a make-up artist - hairdresser and have 50 years of experience working in film and CT. In 1991 I specialized and founded the company of Special Make-up Effects .As an artist I also produce special mannequins, artifacts, props, masks and hairpieces. I am registered in the American Movie Database IMDB as René Stejskal Make-Up.

I have worked on 155 films and series, mostly foreign (e.g.:2022-On the Western Front Quiet, 2000-ser.Dune, 2011-ser. Borgia, 2017-ser.Britannia,2002-Hart's War, 2008-Wanted, 2008 - Bathory...etc see IMDB) . For the last film ,, FRANZ ", a co-production of the Czech Republic, Germany, France and England, which is currently being completed by Agnieszka Holland and will premiere in 2025, I created a mask of the title role of Franz Kafka.

From 1984 to 1991 I worked at Czech Television, also as a master of professional training in the field of Make-up Artist. In the 90s I was a lecturer at FAMU.
