Soukup Ondřej

Music composer and producer, author of many well-known songs and film scores.He graduated from the Prague Conservatory and has performed as a double bassist or bassist in many groups (Prague Big Band, Jiří Stivín, Prague Choice, Ladislav Staidl Orchestra). His collaboration with Lucie Bíla, for whom he has written more than seventy songs, is of great importance. His music accompanies almost thirty feature films (Requiem for a Doll, Válkabarev, Kolya, Vratné lahve, Lída Baarová) and several TV series. His crossover projects - the ballet Checkmate and the stage oratorio The Garden of Edenic Delights - have been very important. In 2014 he wrote the music for the ice revue Masha and the Bear. He is also credited with the music for four musicals (Joan of Arc, Elixir of Life, Robin Hood, Mowgli).
