She graduated from the Jan Masaryk Gymnasium in Jihlava and then from the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory in Prague, majoring in musical theatre. At the age of 16 she won the Jihlava Nightingale and Rozjezdy pro hvězdy singing competitions.
