Murphy Jack

Jack Murphy is the author of a number of theatre projects, not only as a lyricist but also as a composer. He wrote the lyrics to Frank Wildhorn's music for Linda Eder's album "And So Much More" (EMI) and many of her other songs. With Mary Bracken Phillips, he composed the music for the musical Silver Dollar - opening at the Goodspeed Opera House and has worked with such companies as A&M, Verve, MGM, Elektra, Columbia, ABC Dunhill and United Artists Music. In collaboration with Frank Wildhorn and Gregory Boyd, he wrote the lyrics for the musical The Civil War, and with Frank Wildhorn, he also wrote the scripts and lyrics for the musicals Waiting For The Moon, Rudolph - The Last Kiss (premiered in 2006) and The Count of Monte Cristo, which will premiere in Switzerland in March 2009.
