Lukáš Adam

He studied music and drama at the conservatories in Ostrava and Prague. Since 2010 he has been a regular guest of the National Theatre in Ostrava, where he has performed the roles of Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar, Artie in Sunset Boulevard and Chin in West Side Story. For the role of Henry in the musical The Phantom of London, he won the 2015 DIMF Award for Best Actor at the festival in South Korea (for his performance in the Prague version under the title The Phantom of London, he was shortlisted for the 2015 Thalia Award). He received the 2017 Amber Award for Best Musical Singer of the Year for Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet, and has been nominated for the same award in 2020 for his role as Nathan in the chamber musical Thrill me! He also performs on the Prague stages of the Theatre Na Fidlovačce (The Jackal Years, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Smoke, ...), the Kalich Theatre (Hair), Studio DVA (Old Men on Hops), HDK (Time of Roses, Rebels), the Klicper Theatre in Hradec Králové (The Bat) and the South Bohemian Theatre in ČB (Evita). He regularly cooperates with television and radio and also works as a lecturer in communication and speaking.
