Langmajer Jiří
He studied music and drama at the Prague Conservatory. During his studies he performed in the series Třetí patro. After graduation, he went through several companies before joining Divadlo pod Palmovkou, where he created a number of leading roles (Peer Gynt, Caligula, Oedipus, Amadeus, Mephisto). He has been a guest at the National Theatre, Vinohrady Theatre, Musical Theatre in Karlín, Studio Storm, Viola, Dejvice Theatre, Palace Theatre and V Rytířská Theatre. He has created prominent characters in Shakespearean festivals - Edgar in King Lear, Hamlet and Richard III. In 1999 he was the winner of the Thalia for Artists Under 33 for his role as Caligula. He has starred in many TV productions and films (Spuds on the Water, The Invisibles, Labyrinth). He has also performed in musicals such as Rebels, The Secret, Dracula and Adele Hasn't Supped Yet and currently in Mamma Mia! and Long Live the Ghosts.
