Krämer Lukáš - Hynek

At the Conservatory in Pardubice he first studied flute and then solo singing with Prof. Svatava Šubrtová. He won the conservatory competition and became a finalist of the International Singing Competition A. Dvořák in Karlovy Vary. His first operatic experience was the role of Sarastro (The Magic Flute) at the J. K. Tyl Theatre in Pilsen. He sang this role there at the age of twenty. He attended master classes with Paolo di Napoli and Sherill Milnes and later studied privately with Richard Novák. After a three-year engagement in České Budějovice, he became a soloist with the Prague State Opera in 1997. During more than ten years of his tenure there, he performed a number of roles, mainly of the Italian repertoire. Among his recent successes is the staging of Sarastro for Beseto Opera in Seoul, Korea. On the stage of the Prague State Opera he successfully performed as the Waterboy (Rusalka) and Zachariah (Nabucco). He is also engaged in concert activities. He has already performed the role of Caiaphas in a concert performance of the musical Jesus Christ Superstar at the Smetana Litomyšl Music Festival.
