Konášová Lucie

Konášová Lucie

In 1992, she graduated from FAMU, the department of screenwriting and dramaturgy, wrote for a number of periodicals and began to work with Czech Television, where her first films were made - for example, the fairy tale Bride for Paddy or the film Vanilla Scent. In 2005, she completed the series Dobrá čtvrt (Good Quarter) and her successful feature-length fairy tale The Angel of the Lord, which was the basis for the libretto of the musical of the same name. The success of the Good Quarter series prompted her to write its sequel, Good Quarter II, and to follow it up with her own series based on J. Dietl's cult series, Hospital on the Edge of Town / New Fates. The two-part television film Operation Silver A, which she wrote with her husband Josef Konáš, was awarded the most awards from the Czech Film and Television Academy ELSA in 2007 - among others for Best Screenplay and Best Drama Programme of the Year. Her two-part historical film Anatomy of a Betrayal

was also met with great acclaim from audiences and critics alike.
