Jícha Robert

He comes from Brno, where he has been engaged at the Brno Municipal Theatre since 1998. He studied musical acting at the Theatre Faculty of JAMU, where he graduated with the title role of G. Gorin's play. Thyl Ulenspiegel. He has performed more than 20 roles at the MdB - Tony - West Side Story, Lysander - Midsummer Nights' Dreams, Benvolio - Romeo and Juliet, Bedřich - My Fair Lady (Ze Zelňák), Angel - The World Full of Angels, Nikola Šuhaj - Koločava, Woof - Hair, Jesus - Jesus Christ Superstar, Loriot - Mam'zelle Nitouche, Dalton - Equus, Rochefort - The Three Musketeers. He has also performed in Babel, Kean IV, Amadeus, Cyrano of Bergerac, Gypsies Go to Heaven, Joseph and His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Fiddler on the Roof, Orpheus in the Underworld. He has twice appeared in stage performances of Bernstein's Mass. Since 2003 he has been a guest in Prague in the musical Les Misérables - Les Miserables in the role of Enjolras. He is also involved in dubbing (Jake Gyllenhall, Elijah Wood...), concert and charity work. He speaks English, German, also sings in Spanish and French.
