Horáčková Hořejší Michaela

She studied scenography at the Theatre Faculty of the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts in Brno and since 1998 she has been working as a scenographer and costume designer with theatres in the Czech Republic (ND Prague, SOP Prague, Rokokoko, Divadlo v Dlouhé, Švandovo divadlo, Divadlo na Fidlovačce, ROXY N.O.D.), in Moravia (ND Brno, Janáček Opera Brno, MD Zlín, SD Uherské Hradiště), in Slovakia (SND Bratislava, DAB Nitra, ŠD Martin, ŠD Košice) and in Austria (Theater Brett). She has participated in the creation of more than seventy productions, including The Fox Bystrouška - Tales of Blood by J. A. Pitínský, which won the Sazka and Divadelní noviny awards (2005), and Death of Hippodamia by the same director. This production was nominated for the Alfréd Radok Award in the category of production of the year (2006). He also works regularly with directors D. Gombár, J. Nvota and I. Rajmont. She has worked as a costume designer on the films Post Coitum, Rock of the Subversives, Small Joys, Catch the Doctor, The Desperadoes, Berry and My Undressed Diary, Franz by Agnieszka Holland. She has directed TV films The Jesus Trap, The School in the Mill, The White Lady, The Kingdom of Noodles and Happiness Without End, The Story of the Angel. For TV Nova she created self promo campaigns for 2006 - 2011 and the film Another Love from the Private Traps series, participated in music videos and many commercials. She is the author of several artistic projects and realizations, such as Second Skin (2004) and Orlando - Life in Reflections (presentation in Monte Carlo, 2006).
