Oskar Hes is a graduate of the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory of Music. As a child he performed in musicals such as Carmel, Polish Blood and Golem. In his second year he got his first film role in the very successful HBO miniseries Pustina, which helped him for further film and television work. His most successful film and television work to date includes Dukla61, King of Sumava: Phantom of the Dark Region, Background Events, The Puppets, Red, and Anatomy of a Betrayal. In the autumn you can look forward to the long-awaited film Brothers (about the Mašín brothers), the sequel to King of Sumava on Voyo or the very popular TV crime drama Angel, where Hes will play one of the main criminals. He is currently appearing in four drama productions at the Švandovo Theatre. In the musical Bodyguard he will play his first dramatic (solo) role in HDK.
