Hanáková Sylva
Sylva Zimula Hanáková was born in 1967 in Kroměříž. Since 1986 she has worked as a costume designer for theatre, film and television.
She has worked with theatres all over the Czech Republic (e.g. Husa na provázku Theatre, Radost Theatre Brno, Klicperovo Theatre Hradec Králové, National Theatre Prague, Dejvice Theatre, Vinohrady Theatre, Theatre Na Fidlovačce, Comedy Theatre Prague, National Theatre Bratislava, National Theatre Brno...), with the Zlín Film Studios - animated jingles for TV, devoted to freelance work and jewellery - ten solo exhibitions (Prague, Brno, Vienna).
The most frequent cooperation with director V. Morávek, J. Deák, D. Jařab, M. Krobot , V. Peška, P. Jandourek, etc.
She has designed costumes for the films "Emperor and Tambor", "Waterland", "Marahal", "The House at Golden Dawn", "Head, Hands, Heart", "Donšajni", for about 30 TV productions and fairy tales + TV series Chetnik humoresky (13 episodes).
From foreign realizations we can mention: F.M.Dostoevsky "Tender" theatre L'Apostrophe, Paris (2007), costumes for Puccini's opera Princess Turandot in Gothenburg, Sweden, directed by V. Morávka (2012), Dvořák's opera Rusalka in Maribor, Slovenia (2014) and the opera Cosi fann tutte in Jiří Menzel's opera in Budapest (2014).
Her most recent productions include the Parade of Masks for the international festival Theatre World "Characters from the SZH Dream" - winning collection (2008-2012),
Puppets for the puppet theatre Radost (2008-2012), illustrations for the book "The Trap on the Equator" by Hanzelka and Zikmund (2009), illustrations for the book "The Tamtams of Time" by R. Švaříček (2010), ballet of the National Theatre in Ostrava - "Swan Lake", "The Nutcracker" (2011-2013), costumes for Dvořák's opera "Rusalka" directed by V. Morávek (2013), costumes for Catalani's opera "La Wally", National Theatre Ostrava (2013), costumes for the drama "Amadeus", DHNP Brno (2014) and costumes for the drama "Quartermaster", National Theatre Prague (2014).
