Fikar Stránská Linda
She graduated from JAMU Theatre Faculty in musical acting (1999) and Prague HAMU in choreography (2004). She starred in the first Prague production of the musicals Jesus Christ Superstar (1994) and Evita. She was a guest in the Municipal Theatre Brno (West Side Story, Radúz and Mahulena). In the original Czech musical hit Starci na hmelu (Old Men on Hops) she created the main role of Hanka (Millennium Theatre), in Gershwin's Crazy for you Polly Baker (NDMS in Ostrava). In the musical Cats she performed the role of Moura the house cat (Milénium Theatre). Since 2002 she has been engaged in HDK. There she portrayed Kathy Selden in Singin' in the Rain, Minnie in Hello Dolly, Liz in the crime musical Chicago, Consuela, Chara and also Anita in West Side Story, Alena in Night at Karlštejn and Dolores in Carmen. She has guest starred in drama productions of the Metro Prague Theatre (Micaela in Carmen, etc.). She has also been a guest at the Vinohrady Theatre (Donaha!), Divadlo pod Palmovkou (Promises of Error), Kalich (Desire). In Michal Horáček's lyrical Kudykam she played Mňaudamička Tree (State Opera Prague). She is also a choreographer: The Office (DIK Prague), Miss Gypsy Czech Republic 2005. She cooperates with Semafor Theatre (The Temptation of St. Anthony), Drama Theatre of the National Theatre Prague, Theatre under Palmovkou, Vinohrady Theatre (Donaha!), J.K.Tyl Theatre in Pilsen, etc. She has presented her original projects at Czech and international dance festivals (Toyama-Toga Japan, Freedance Ukraine, Czech Dance Platform, Tanec Praha). Her work Inside Each Of Us was awarded the third prize for choreography at the 10Masdanza festival in the Canary Islands. Occasionally she also works as a teacher (DAMU-Cabinet of Movement Education, CSTS Junior National Team).
