Durďinová Zuzana
She studied music and drama at the Bratislava Conservatory and pop composition at the State Conservatory in Prague.
She began her theatre practice with the role of Alice in the fairy tale Alice in Wonderland, followed by leading roles in the musicals Die for Beauty (Manon Lescaut), Mirandolina and the drama performances Summer Day and Hourly Hotelier (written and directed by P. Landovský). In Prague, she performed in the musicals Hair, Grease, The Little Mermaid, Monte Cristo, Dracula, West Side Story, Gypsies Go to Heaven, Cats, Carmen, Adele Has Not Yet Dined, Hammer on the Witch, Long Live Rock and Roll. She played Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady, and has also appeared in several drama productions (e.g. School for Women, Oscar, I'll Get You Strawberries...).
She played one of the main roles in the feature film Hazard, and has starred in the TV series Cops from the Suburbs, Swimming Pool, The Rose Garden, A Place in Life 2, Tell, the feature film Waterloo in Czech, and the American thriller Van Helsing, which was filmed in 2003 in Prague.
In addition, she is a dubbing artist, sings in TV commercials and fairy tales, and performs as a vocalist in concerts and recordings of leading artists of the Czech pop scene (H. Vondráčková, M. David...) She sang the role of the witch in The Little Mermaid performed at the Křižík Fountain in Prague, performed in the multimedia project Lewron by Leszek Wronka, and sings in the band ABBA World Revival. In 1998 she released her solo CD Pohádkový svět and in 1999 her CD Výběr. On both of them she has also worked as a composer of music. Her songs have been several times in the finals of the Dětská nota songwriting competition.
