Černý Martin
He studied scenography at the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theatre of the Academy of Performing Arts in 1995-2000.
Since then he has created about two hundred stage and costume designs of all genres in theatres in the Czech Republic.
Czech Republic, Slovakia, Russia, Austria and Ukraine.
At the Karlín Musical Theatre he is the author of the set design for the musicals The Producers and Lemonade Joe, the operetta Polska
Blood and the drama Yesterday I'll Kill You.
His career is mainly associated with the National Theatre, where he has worked most often with director Ivan
The Moth, The Countryside, The Old Directors, Dirty Hands at the Kolowrat Theatre. Oresteia, Enemy of the People, School

Mahenovo, MD Brno, Arena, Akademicheskij teatr in Yaroslavl, Ivan Franko Kyiv), operas (Janáček, J.K. Tyl), ballets (J.K. Tyla,
Opera Graz, Slovak National Theatre Bratislava, Moravian Theatre Olomouc, State Theatre Košice, Slovak Dance Theatre), operettas ( Janáček,
State Theatre Košice) and musicals (Kalich, Broadway, Hybernia, Congress Centre).
For the set for the production of The Noonday Fate directed by Hana Burešová at the Dlouhá Theatre he received the Alfréd Radok Award 2011.
He is a lecturer at the Department of Scenography at DAMU and the artistic director of the production section at the National Theatre.
