Co-writer of Sleeper, Annie Hall (Academy Award), Manhattan Murder Mystery Writer/director of Simon, Lovesick, The Manhattan Project, Sister Mary Explains it All. Television: The Johnny Carson Show, The Dick Cavett Show - head writer and producer His first work for musical theatre, Jersey Boys, won an Olivier Award and four Tony Awards, including Best Musical. In addition to his work for film, theater and television, he has written for The New York Times, The New Yorker, Playboy and other periodicals, and in 2006 received the Writers' Guild of America Ian McClellan Hunter Award for Lifetime Achievement. He lives and works in New York City and hopes to die in bed, surrounded by his loving family and their accountants.
