About the musical:

The young frontman of the band Roland Benny is sent by the court to cure his aggressive behaviour, which costs him his promising career, his band and all his friends. Unreconciled to his fate in his new surroundings, he decides to go solo until he discovers a new talent to help resurrect his shattered career. The first musical by Matěj Kloubek and Matěj Čipera and the Chodovická Grammar School Drama Club under the direction of Olga Francová Velicková.

The origin of the Musical on Powder stretches back to the first weeks of the first covid lockdown, when we came up with the idea that our school was missing an original work in the drama club. Matěj Čipera came up with the idea of a musical for which he would compose the music, he also came up with the theme himself, and there was plenty of time for me to write the script for our first work, which we will present on the Small Stage of the Karlín Musical Theatre with a very young cast of great students from the Gymnasium Chodovická. After 3 years of hard work under the guidance of Olga Francová Velicka, our work was awarded the first prize of the Eduard competition and we are looking forward to bringing it to you!
