The Karlín Musical Theatre, headed by its director, Mr Egon Kulhánek, in cooperation with the producers of the musical Time of Roses, Mr Oldřich Lichtenberg and Mr Sagvan Tofi (the author of the musical), together with the founder, the Capital City of Prague, are pleased to present the performance. Prague, to announce a Charity Performance of the musical Time of Roses.
We would like to donate the proceeds, including part or all of the fees of the performers who join us, to the research institute of Professor Marek Trný CSc. Internal Clinic and Hematology of the General University Hospital, led by the Head of the Oncology Clinic, Professor Luboš Petruželka, M.D., CSc.
This department and research team has had extraordinary success in research and treatment of oncological diseases. Their current focus is on so-called secondary cancers, which appear as a recurrence after previous successful treatment of primary cancers. The department is also concerned with the psychological impact of the environment and the internal psychological setting of patients on the success and effectiveness of treatment. The team of specialists of the oncological haematology of the VFN, among others, collaborated on the treatment of our colleague and cultural doyen Karel Gott.
The biennial performance of TIME OF ROSES will take place on 20 February 2020 and the patronage of the author of this idea, the Councillor for Culture of the Capital City of Prague, will be taken over by the President of the European Union. Mgr. Hana Třeštíková.
