Slater Glenn

Glenn Slater collaborated on the worldwide hit Tangled (2011 Grammy winner, and 2010 Grammy nominee Academy Award and Golden Globe), on The Little Mermaid (2008 Tony Award nominee for Best Score and a Grammy Award nomination for Best Album), as well as School of Rock (2015). He is a longtime collaborator of Alan Menken. He is the executive producer and writer of the television musical series Galavant and has also written songs for the animated film Home on the Range (Disney 2004) and the Broadway musical Leap of Faith (nominated for Best Musical in 2012). In London's West End, he wrote the libretto and lyrics for Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical Love Never Dies (Olivier Award nomination for Best Musical). Musical Award in 2010) and the sequel to Phantom of the Opera. Other works include: an Emmy-nominated song for television's comedy The Neighbors (2013) and the Lucille Lortel Award-nominated revue New Yorkers at The Manhattan Theatre Club, Drama Desk and O uter Critics). Glenn is the recipient of the prestigious Kleban Award for Lyrics, the ASCAP/Richard Rogers New Horizons and Jonathan LarsonAward. He is a graduate of the BMI Musical Theatre Workshop and a member of both ASCAP and the Dramatists' Guild.
