Jan Vlasák

After graduating from high school, he worked as a worker in a concrete factory, as a stagehand in the theatre in Cologne and after graduating from the JAMU, he joined the theatre in Uherské Hradiště. He married and had a son Honzik, then a daughter Barunka and then a daughter Anička. This was followed by a "pilgrimage" through Czech and Moravian theatres (theatres in Ostrava, Brno, Theatre in Smíchov). During those years he met great colleagues and friends. He was lucky to meet excellent directors (e.g. J. Kačer, J. Krejčík, L. Pistorius, P. Svojtka). At one time he tried to teach at a private acting school, but after a while he understood that it was a very difficult discipline and gave it up. His great hobby was the piano (he kept it a bit) and then the dog. He currently has a growing Swiss Shepherd puppy and enjoys watching the communication and relationship between the two develop and strengthen.
